This Mortar unit contains 3 squads of two models making up three heavy mortars.

During World War II, the British heavy mortar was well-represented by the Ordnance ML 4.2-inch mortar. Introduced in the 1930s, this weapon became a staple in the British and Commonwealth forces. The ML 4.2-inch mortar had a caliber of 107mm and was known for its versatility and firepower. Typically operated by a crew, it could fire a variety of projectiles, including high-explosive and smoke rounds, providing effective support for infantry in the field.
